Hey guys! I wanted to start this blog off on a positive note. I am always thinking of ways to make my life better as well as ways that I may be able to help others. So today’s post is encouraging you all to “PINK” about it! As you may already know, I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and of course pink is one of my favorite colors lol so, I came up with an acronym that reflects ways to make life more meaningful:

P- Positive.
I- Innovating
N- Neighborly
K- Knowledgeable

According to me, “PINK” about it would stir up GREAT changes in your life:

Positive: A person should always have a Positive mindset and an optimistic view on life! Just telling yourself, “Hey I know I can do this, I believe I can achieve this” really goes a long way. Your mind is more powerful than you think! The brain is AMAZING and just allowing yourself to produce all these positive juices into your body will make you feel rejuvenated as if you sipped on a redbull or something. Don’t believe me? TRY IT! Like the little choo choo train: I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. (Just trying to give you all a visual)

Innovating: Change is good! Being innovative allows a person to make room for the new new. Who doesn’t like new stuff? I’m speaking both materialistic and non materialistic. Imagine: You are the same person you are now in 2024, would you be happy with yourself overall? See, innovation is good! Thank God for growth right? No one is perfect thus we ALL have something that we can do better or something that we want to chang.e

Neighborly: Now I’m going to take you all to church with this one lol Look at your neighbor and say neighbor, *church says neighbor”, ok just kidding! We all have been to a church that has done that though lol Essentially that’s the idea I mean when I use the word neighborly. But seriously though. We are to love thy neighbor as we love ourselves. I am a strong believer that if you are good to others then good things will come to you. You can’t expect good things to come into your life if you are deceitful, judgemental, negative, or whatever towards others. Be good, kind, loving, and open to your neighbor. Be that shoulder to cry on for someone who needs it. Be that person that helps a little old lady carry her groceries to her car because she is weak, struggling, and no one else cares to help. Be that person that a little child can look up to and says “hey I wanna be just like you when I grow up”. You know that kind of stuff!

Knowledgeable: This one is short, simple, straight to the point. Be informed on what’s going on around you. Not even what’s going on around you but what’s going on in the world! I find it helpful to simply go to yahoo.com and read the trending topics to see what’s going on. I think being knowledgeable is vital! It may not seem important to know things going on around the world or even in our own country but trust me, it is very important.

Ok that’s all I have for “Pink About It”. I encourage you all to Think About It and be “PINK” About It.
